Pilot Project: FIBO Programme now available in over 50 languages

Bar ohne Namen

As the international platform for fitness, wellness, and health, FIBO caters to countless people from various parts of the world and thus with various languages. To make the content accessible to each visitor in the most comfortable way possible, a pilot project is launching at FIBO 2024.

For the first time, the translation software Wordly is being used. This enables talks and other offerings at the fair such as workshops and expert discussions to be translated simultaneously. Visitors can choose from over 57 languages and decide between audio playback for listening or visual playback for reading. All they need is their smartphone, the Wordly Translator, and their own headphones if needed. A special advantage: No user account or registration is required for the application. The app is also free of charge.

At FIBO, visitors have access to separate Wi-Fi for each area to make the best possible use of Wordly. Translation of the programme is possible in the following areas:

  • FIBO Campus (CC Nord)
  • Nutrition & Diagnostics Area (Hall 4.2)
  • Lifestyle Area (Hall 5.2)
  • Future Forum (Hall 7)
  • Meeting Point Health (Hall 8)
  • Meeting Point Spa & Wellness (Hall 8)

Here's how it works:

  1. Scan the QR code on-site that you'll find at the designated area at FIBO.
  2. Choose the language that suits you.
  3. Listen or read along.
